This picture was taken in a small private reserve near Etosha. A big herd of zebras was running towards the setting sun, causing an amazing amount of dust to fly in the air. Then for a split second, those three zebras stopped and turned around to watch us.

A Curious Little One
We were nearly at the end of our trip. Our last safari. Our heads were full of beautiful images and memories.
But apparently, we still had room for a little more...
We were chatting with our guide and suddenly he told us to be quiet. He stopped the engine and listened carefully. After a short while, he drove a little off-road on the side of a small hill. He pointed to a tree on the right and there was a lioness, very hard to see. While we were watching her, he very quietly told us "Now, look on your left".
This lioness wasn't actually looking at us. She was looking at her magnificent three cubs, playing together. One of them seemed very intrigued by our cameras. He carefully walked closer to the car and doing so, his head poked over some dry grass.south africawildlifekrugerafricanaturePrivate Reservetravelsafarilionanimalscub
Stalking
Leopards are stealthy animals. They hunt at night and spend most of their days sleeping in thick trees. That's the reason why it's a fairly difficult animal to observe, yet to photograph.
One afternoon in Moremi, we decided to head out of our camp a little bit sooner than usual. As we drove under a very big tree, our guide suddenly stopped and pointed his finger at the top of the tree, whispering "Hoooo, leopard !". It was the first one I've ever seen and I will remember it forever. It was resting, in what seemed like a very tricky position. We stayed with it for at least an hour. From time to time, it got up, looked at some antelopes in the distance, decided they were too far away, and went back to sleep.naturetravelanimalsafricawildlifesafarileopardbotswanamoremiokavango deltamoremi game reserveMoremi Tongue
