Leopards are stealthy animals. They hunt at night and spend most of their days sleeping in thick trees. That's the reason why it's a fairly difficult animal to observe, yet to photograph.
One afternoon in Moremi, we decided to head out of our camp a little bit sooner than usual. As we drove under a very big tree, our guide suddenly stopped and pointed his finger at the top of the tree, whispering "Hoooo, leopard !". It was the first one I've ever seen and I will remember it forever. It was resting, in what seemed like a very tricky position. We stayed with it for at least an hour. From time to time, it got up, looked at some antelopes in the distance, decided they were too far away, and went back to sleep.
